The Chamber Minute 10/26/26

Connecting Business and Education for a Stronger Workforce

In for another Chamber Minute is Rosey.

This week, the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing industry leaders and educators together for our CTE Dinner on October 28th, focused on building connections and strengthening the future workforce. 🤝🎓

We’re starting with six key sectors: Health Sciences, Construction and Skilled Trades, Manufacturing, Business and Entrepreneurship, Culinary Arts and Hospitality, and Agriculture and Natural Resources.

In partnership with Recruit Hippo, Southwestern Oregon Community College, and South Coast ESD, we’re creating opportunities for educators and industry leaders to share ideas, connect resources, and explore how we can better prepare our students for tomorrow’s jobs.

Because a stronger workforce doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when business and education work together.

Workforce continues to be a top priority for our Chamber members, and we’re committed to helping our businesses find solutions in the areas that matter most.

Because when we invest in our workforce, we invest in the future of our entire community.

And as always,

our business is helping your business!
